The past cannot be eliminated; it remains part of what shaped me. What has changed is how I live with it. Experiences that once became despair, anger, resentment, can now become turning points. Through these songs, I take grief, difficult memories, painful days, and the desire to change, and turn them into something that may offer experience, strength, and hope to someone else. These document that movement: learning to carry loss differently, confronting my relationship with myself, allowing a bad day simply to pass, and choosing to become different rather than chasing an undefined idea of “better.”
