“Here I Am”

is a reflective song about survival, self-forgiveness and identity. Kristopher Daniel Pinnell writes from multiple perspectives of the same self, confronting who he was, recognizing who endured, and arriving at the present without denying the past.

“Here I Am” exists in 4 distinct mechanicals: One composition, FOUR complete interpretations: today’s playlist is effectively an album built from one song.

“Genre can sometimes become a barrier before a song is ever heard. These 4 interpretations challenge that barrier: the same lyrics and message carried through country, indie, rock, hard rock and metal. The form changes. The song remains.” The message survives the messenger.
