This album is dedicated to my sister.
My Sister and I didn’t come from easy beginnings, and we weren’t handed much in the way of certainty. We grew up in a time that was wild, unguarded, and, in many ways, unforgiving. The kind of time where you learned by living through it, not being protected from it. And somehow, through all of that, we made it.
My Sister and I grew up in a time where nothing was really guarded. No seatbelts, no helmets, no locked liquor cabinets, no real safety nets—just life happening, fast and loud. You learned by surviving it.
And we did.
We weren’t handed much, and we weren’t expected to become much either. But somehow, we pushed through it. Against all of it.
Today, we stand here—not perfect, but standing—as contributing members of society. That didn’t happen by accident. That happened because we didn’t give up.
This album carries pieces of that journey. Not every detail is spoken outright, because some things don’t need to be explained—they’re felt. The songs will say what they need to say.
But this part I want to say clearly:
We made it through the chaos, through the noise, through the things that could have taken us down a very different path. Against odds that weren’t always visible on the surface, but were very real all the same, we found our way forward.
Now the albums is complete and will be available on all streaming platforms and stores with all songs I was waiting for to be completed - no more placeholders. Tracks 2 and 8 have been updated.
But this is what matters:
This album carries pieces of that road. Some things are said, some things are left in the music where they belong.
We made it.
